Kangchenjunga, at the Nepal-Sikkim boundary of NE India, is, at 8,585 metres, the
third highest mountain in the world. Only a few Western trekkers have been able to
make this epic journey along foothill ridges, ingeniously terraced slopes settled
by hill peoples, across lofty passes to the very heartland of the great Himalayan
mountains. Kev Reynolds has been there at different times as journalist, as author
and as broadcaster. Now he brings his amazing pictures to Purley Lit so we can enjoy
this most beautiful walk without moving from our chairs.
